Over the past few weeks, Aotahi kids have been learning about grouping and patterns! We have grouped many different objects into categories like colours, shapes, and items. This week, we moved onto creating a pattern, making a chain with paper and sequencing shapes on paper (which can be seen on the wall in our classroom).

It’s fun exploring patterns, isn’t it? Everywhere we look in nature, there are wonderful patterns and colours. I have a big button jar at home. It would be fun to sort them into colours. Ngā mihi, Kathy.
