This term we have been taking ACTION! by learning about the people who help us in an emergency. This week our focus was on the people who help us when there is a fire and what we should do. We were lucky enough to get a special visit from a local fire-person and even got to get up nice and close to a FIRE TRUCK! Here is a song we performed at the assembly about how to ‘Get Out, Stay Out!’ if there is a fire.

Aotahi I love your video singing “Get out, Stay out!” You had so much enthusiasm and the tamariki seem to have learned heaps about keeping safe in a fire! I can’t wait to see the next video of you all performing!
Hi Aotahi
I had so much fun helping you make your fire headbands, and they looked great. It was awesome to see you singing “Get out, Stay out” in assembly; I was super proud of how well you did in front of everyone. Let me know what you plan to share at the assembly next time so I can try to come and watch.
Ngā mihi
